NSS does millions of dollars in business with this one product. It is popular for young and old. The single premium whole life plan, hereafter referred to as SPWL is a permanent plan of insurance. This means it has the follow character- istics:

  • Provides lifetime protection.
  • A one-time payment pays up the policy for life.
  • This plan has cash or loan values for future needs.
  • This plan is eligible for dividends which add to the policy’s values over time.
One of the most attractive benefits of the SPWL is the fact that it is the most cost-efficient way to purchase life insurance. This means that you pay the least amount of money for the most protection in the long run.

For example: a female, age 35, non-smoker wants to compare the difference between a $100,000 SPWL and a $100,000 whole life plan. The SPWL cost $20,278 one-time and it is completely paid for. The $100,000 whole life plan costs $877 per year. This payment is due every year from age 35 to age 100+. The whole life plan has a lower annual premium but it would only take 24 years before the total cost exceeds the one-time payment on a single premium plan of insurance.

This plan is ideal for young people. A $10,000 plan or more not only make a person an insured member of NSS but also make them eligible for our scholarship program which is currently worth up to $2,000 ($500/year over 4 years.) We also have quite a few seniors using this plan to minimize taxes to their heirs and/or for wealth transfer purposes. Here is how this could work for a female, age 70. She has a 100,000 in an annuity (half of the value is interest) and she plans on leaving this to her family. We take the money out of the annuity now and pay the taxes. Withhold $10,000 for taxes and use the $90,000 balance to buy a SPWL. Assuming she is in decent health this deposit would buy her more than $160,000 of life insurance. Any time after the second policy year she would have more cash value than she paid in premiums. If she dies her family receives a much larger amount ($160,000) tax free. That is the beauty of life insurance and why no other financial product can replicate this unique feature. One final advantage to our single premium. We allow the one-time payment to be made in three equal installments. A $1,200 single payment could have three annual $400 payments.
