Rose Hall Great House

Just minutes from the resort, the historic Rose Hall Great House is one of Jamaica’s most famous landmarks. This beautifully restored Georgian mansion overlooks the coastline and tells the fascinating story of Annie Palmer, the legendary “White Witch of Rose Hall.” Visitors can explore the elegant rooms, antiques, and exhibits while learning about the property’s colonial history. Day tours focus on the estate’s heritage, while evening tours add an entertaining touch of mystery and folklore.

Caribbean Beachfront Luxury

JOIA Rose Hall’s prime location on a stunning stretch of white-sand beach is an attraction in itself. Guests can relax in beachfront cabanas, swim in the warm turquoise waters, or enjoy a variety of complimentary non-motorized water sports such as kayaking and paddleboarding. The calm Caribbean conditions make the area ideal for both recreation and relaxation. Whether watching the sunset from the shore or spending the day in the water, the beachfront experience is a highlight of any stay at the resort.

Cinnamon Hill Golf Course

One of the standout attractions near JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar is the renowned Cinnamon Hill Golf Course. This 18-hole championship course offers dramatic oceanfront holes, rolling hills, and lush tropical scenery that showcase Jamaica’s natural beauty. Players of all skill levels can enjoy a challenging yet memorable round while taking in panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. The course is also rich in history, incorporating elements of the former Rose Hall sugar plantation estate into the golfing experience.
