 | This fraternal program is for our over
fifty-five (55) year-old members who are
interested in continuing their intellectual growth and making fuller use
of their leisure time.
|
| Vocational schools, community
colleges, and universities offer a variety of short term courses
which may include classes in computer literacy, cake decorating,
small engine repair,
photography, landscaping, woodworking, ballroom dancing, sports, etc.
|
| Continuing education classes for the
attainment or maintenance of a degree or certification are
not eligible.
|
| Members can submit
up to two (2) applications in one (1) calendar year.
|
| The NSS will reimburse one-half (½) of the tuition
for the course up to $100, upon proof that the course was
successfully completed.
|
| Reimbursement is
not to exceed $100 per application or scholarship.
|
| Maximum is $200 per
year.
