This fraternal program is for our over fifty-five (55) year-old members who are interested in continuing their intellectual growth and making fuller use of their leisure time. Vocational schools, community colleges, and universities offer a variety of short term courses which may include classes in computer literacy, cake decorating, small engine repair, photography, landscaping, woodworking, ballroom dancing, sports, etc. Continuing education classes for the attainment or maintenance of a degree or certification are not eligible.
- Members can submit up to two (2) applications in one (1) calendar year.
- The NSS will reimburse one-half (½) of the tuition for the course up to $100, upon proof that the course was successfully completed.
- Reimbursement is not to exceed $100 per application or scholarship.
- Maximum is $200 per year.
