"THE
FRATERNAL 100"
For the first time in the history of an NSS Convention,
we are inviting our delegates and visitors to participate in one
or more community projects in the Williamsburg, VA area. What
the projects are will be determined by the community leaders in
the area. The final activities will be announced by June 1,
2006. They could include trash removal, landscaping, painting,
cleaning, etc. Plan to get "down" and "dirty"
in Williamsburg!
The number of people eligible will
be LIMITED to the first one hundred that sign-up and thus
the name the "Fraternal 100". Each participant will
receive a specially designed t-shirt designating their participation
in this unique fraternal event. Two buses will leave the Crowne
Plaza Hotel at 8:00 am and return at Noon on Tuesday, August 1st.
For those not participating, the
Convention will be in session and workshops will be conducted
on topics of interest. This fraternal event and the workshops
are within a working session of the Convention and delegates are
required to attend one or the other. Members of the
Youth Event will also participate in this fraternal project.
This fraternal opportunity will be
available on a "first-come-first-served' basis and for those
with special skills to meet the specific project needs.
